Dermal Filler Training
Neurotoxins and dermal fillers are both commonly used in aesthetic medicine to address signs of aging and enhance the appearance of the face.
Neurotoxins, such as Dyport, Botox, Jeuveau, Xeomin and Daxxify, are substances that are injected into specific muscles of the face to temporarily block the nerve signals that cause those muscles to contract. This relaxation of the muscles can help to smooth out wrinkles and fine lines, and create a more youthful and refreshed appearance.
Dermal fillers, on the other hand, are substances that are injected into the skin to restore volume and fullness to the face. They can be used to address a range of cosmetic concerns, such as fine lines, wrinkles, and loss of volume in the cheeks and lips. Some common types of dermal fillers include hyaluronic acid fillers, calcium hydroxylapatite fillers, and poly-L-lactic acid fillers. We will cover hyaluronic acid fillers.
The neurotoxin and dermal filler training course begins with an intensive and thorough lecture session where you will:
- Review facial anatomy
- Discuss the history and pharmacology of Botox® Cosmetic, Dysport®, Jeuveau, Xeomin® and dermal fillers
- Go over reconstitution techniques for Botox® Cosmetic, Dysport® and Jeuveau & Xeomin®
- Understand client selection and preparation
- Learn the indications, contraindications, and treatment techniques for each area and/or product
- Examine possible side effects and after-treatment protocols
Hands-on Training
After the didactic portion, you will immediately move onto clinical, hands-on training. You will perform client consultations, come up with treatment plans and perform injections all under the supervision of the injector. This includes conducting a skin analysis while understanding what outcome the model desires. The instructor will help in determining the type and amount of product that will be injected by the participants of the course. Products, and supplies are provided by RMD during the hands-on portion of the neurotoxin and dermal filler training course for medical professionals.
Course materials and Replenish Training Certification
